The concept of a divided backpack that can hold non-gear items is great. The size of the bag is large and the materials seem to be of good quality. Unfortunately the straps and the way they are sewn to the bag are very flimsy. They look like they were made for a child's school bag. In addition, the packing of the transmission part is very flexible and weak. No dividers but the walls of the bag itself. Too thin and flexible. Not enough protection or stability. I'm returning this bag because I just don't see it holding up for serious travel or heavy use. This is a good backpack, maybe for a beginner who has light gear, but certainly not for a pro.
