I JUST NOTED THAT THIS IS NOT FAUX LEATHER, IT IS REAL LEATHER, I NEVER BUY A KILL ANIMAL BELT, Disgusting. COMPANY SHOULD BE ELIGIBLE FOR FALSE ADVERTISING After reading so many reviews complaining that they are too small, I ordered 2X, I wear size 40 pants. It's 7 holes longer, about 6 inches, but it's not big, actually fits as it is. The second picture is of my little miss, 38 years old, saying 'oh my god she needs something to eat' and as you can see the belt looks amazing on her. I see no reason why this belt couldn't be made to fit, so buying too big wouldn't be a bad thing. I will order XL to see if it fits properly. It's way nicer than the much more expensive vegan straps I've bought.
