- I like that they are 100% cotton. I'm increasingly skeptical about synthetic fabrics. You can find fibers made from synthetic fabrics all over the ocean, even at the North Pole. And they find chemicals from synthetic fabrics in blood samples, so any chemicals used to make synthetic fibers get absorbed into the skin. I try not to buy anything that isn't made from at least 80% natural fibers (linen, cotton, bamboo, etc.). They are 100% cotton but they are NOT organic. They are decorated with beautiful embroidery. The edges are beautifully sewn. They are not high quality but are definitely thicker than the rags you find at your local store. For this letter I don't know the asking price so it's hard to judge if they are value for money. I would say less than $10 would be a good deal for them.
