The glass nail file (my favorite) is small but works well on soft little nails. Whether you're filing a sharp edge or using a whole nail file, this file won't let you down. Unlike paper files that wear out, metal files that rust or wear out too quickly, glass files only wear out as much as possible. If necessary, rinse the file under running water or clean the grain with a soft brush. I've never lost a glass file! I haven't had to use tweezers yet, even though I played with them for a few minutes. I think they're plastic rather than metal and might be less intimidating to a restless toddler with a splinter or bee sting, although I wouldn't attempt to pluck an eyebrow with them. The fourth item is children's nail scissors. I've never felt comfortable using them so I'm not allowed to review them, they have a sharp edge with a blunt end and are slightly shorter than others I've seen. I would use them to trim something small but not baby nails because I've never done that. They would be handy to carry around when a child needs medication that is supposed to clean but always needs cutting. Some allergy meds or pain relievers like Tylenol come to mind. The set comes in a plastic case containing all 4 pieces so they are clean and ready to use. For the list price of less than $7 I could have ordered a few more to keep handy around the house and one for the diaper bag!
