Review on Eberlestock Bandit Pack Blue by Juan Harrington

Revainrating 5 out of 5

3. Eberlestock backpack - love them all - this is my most used one now

I bought a very large Eberlestock backpack (Battleship I think) for camping about a year ago . and immediately noticed that the quality is top notch, which drew attention to eberlestock. Keep my tools and repair kit. - I like being able to keep things organized and within reach for quick access in case of a flat tire. A spare inner tube, rubber glue, tire levers, carbon dioxide canister, knife and anything else I need quickly or can reach with one hand all fit in easily. This bag also has a nice key hook. I use a 3L mountain bike hydration pack in it - and keep my phone in the two side water bottle pockets for easy access (they adjust to be snug so nothing can spill). The main compartment accommodates groceries and me store gels/bars/etc. in each of the inner side pockets. You can easily get a smaller hydration pack and fit a lot more in it. I also like the moth front panel - you can use it to hide a jacket or sweatshirt for quick access without opening it all the way if you want. There is a zipper at the waist and chest so I can keep the pack really snug while riding. A rail and adjustable shoulder straps ensure your size doesn't get caught. I really like this pack after about a month of constant mountain biking - used 3-5 days a week.

Pros
  • Adjustable shoulder strap - Slot for adjustable waist strap for extra weight
Cons
  • Nothing
