Let me start by saying that I have bought 3 other ring lights over the course of 6 years and this is by far the best ring light I have ever owned. The first ring light I ever bought was a fluorescent light. I knew I needed to upgrade so I bought 2 others, both LED and only one that is dimmable. I have a makeup studio and makeup tutorial videos, so lighting is crucial for me. One light is used in my studio and the other in film, and I like to have a backup light when I'm out on larger projects. These lights can be quite bulky and heavy, so the Zomei was significantly lighter than my previous ones when I received it. What makes this flashlight different from others and what is truly amazing is that this flashlight not only supports dimming but also comes with temperature control. If you plan to use this for filming, or have any experience, you know how frustrating it can be when your videos have a too cold tone and you have to adjust the colors yourself during editing. This feature saves you that trouble. This flashlight is thinner than most on the market, making it much lighter. As soon as the other lights go out I will replace them with this model and I highly recommend this light!
