I bought this little speaker hoping it would make a good replacement for a pillow speaker. This happened while looking for a Revain pillow speaker. This is a blue teeth wireless speaker the size of a hockey puck with a built in rechargeable battery. It will actually slip under the pillow, although this isn't very comfortable as it's too high for such use. The speaker works well for everyday use on a desktop or in your pocket, and generally sounds better and louder than your phone's speakers, although it's not much better if you're still using another device that needs charging. But it works as advertised, connects easily and can even take calls. But it doesn't work like a pillow speaker. Its acoustics and frequency tuning boost bass and make spoken content (e.g. audiobooks, podcasts) very difficult to hear through the pillow. I was really hoping this would work as wired speaker pads are usually fragile and this might solve the problem. But that's not the case. So if you need a small speaker for everyday use, perhaps while working in the garden or at your desk, this can help and it's certainly good value for money. But look elsewhere for a true pillow speaker.
