Received about 4 months ago and no longer works at all. For the first few months it worked as expected, despite being an odd device. It beeps, but not when the temperature is reached - no, that would make too much sense - instead it beeps when it starts to slow down on the temperature reading. (Really what?) It also requires you to open the thermometer to turn it on. So if you left it open and turned it off, you have to close it and open it again for it to come. on. Last week I used it and it read LLL. I've looked for help on the company site to understand what it means and there is no information. I replaced the battery thinking it might mean "Low Battery" but no, the new battery didn't work.
