Good strong game table. The color as in the picture. The double drawers offer enough space for chess, checkers and backgammon. Although the king can't "stand" in the drawer I bought, I don't think that's a problem. green. We love them too! I think it's a great piece of furniture that fits well in a corner or small space, it's both beautiful and functional. However, there is no additional space on this table top. It can pretty much hold EITHER in-game items or drinks and snacks, but not both. Also note that the board has small holes on two sides so you can slide your fingers while flipping the board from chess/checkers to backgammon. However, the board is square so you can place it either above the drawers or on the sides of the table.
