I really like how small it is. In that respect he is perfect; however very poorly made. I bought it because I don't have enough memory on my laptop, so I always leave it plugged in. I've only removed it four times. When I took it off the third time, the rope broke and I never used it to pull it out. It was ok because I didn't need the string. However, when I took it off the fourth time, the plastic cover covering the canopy came off, making removal extremely difficult. That would be nice too because I don't take it off often BUT the light without the cover is BRIGHT! Too light. So I had to put two stickers on it.
