Review on πŸŽ’ Aqua Quest Spindrift Waterproof Backpack 30 Liters - Black, Red, Reflective by Shawn Trotter

A hybrid of backpack and stuff sack - so close.

I love backpacks and I love keeping my stuff dry. It's cool to see real dry bags being made as functional backpacks and not just old-school cylindrical tubes that were cumbersome to carry around and were only used to keep things dry. This bag is SO close to the perfect mix of the two designs. Shoulder straps with waist and chest options, a padded back, and a front flap pocket are all well designed and comfortable. I wish some of these straps were optional/removable. For my purposes they aren't really needed and I can end up cutting off the waist belt to keep the clutter to a minimum. The bag itself looks great and the material is well made. The velcro closure is handy so if you don't close it all the way (roll the top down and secure) all of your stuff won't accidentally fall out. Only 1 or 2 pockets are missing. I just want to see an inside pocket closer to the top. For example, a small zip pocket for small things like keys, phone, WALLET. The things you want to keep dry but don't want to search at the bottom of a huge bag full of junk are like trying to find something in my wife's purse. As mentioned in other reviews, a single water pocket on the outside would be nice too - it has everything you need in a good travel backpack so that's an obvious flaw. At the moment this is my fishing bag. I can throw in a little bit of everything, whether on the boat or on the beach, and I don't have to worry. Easy to clean and rinse with water.
