I can only say wow! I bought it for hot pressing on t-shirts and used it successfully. However, I have also used it to attach fabric ink and thermal tape to the seams of waterproof garments. It's thin enough to see through (it's not transparent, but it's obvious) to guide the heat band seal and keep dirt off the platen of my very expensive iron. That means less cleanup and sticky surprises with other ironed projects, and that's a good thing! I've used other ironing cloths, some transparent, some mesh, which couldn't stand the heat of the iron, what's the point? It's a Teflon-coated mesh material that doesn't wobble or stretch when exposed to heat, and I'm really excited about this discovery.
