If the item was exactly as pictured online it would be a great belt. An extra piece of metal was sewn to the belt, which was sewn into the main part of the belt. This was done to take the extra strap after it went through the D-ring and keep it flush with the stomach or thighs. All I wanted was for the strap to go through the D-ring and the extra strap to just hang down. Personal preference only. Otherwise, this belt is very strong and durable. Warning, this strap is thick and may not fit through all strap loops. It barely fit into my Carhartt jeans.
