I have non-diabetic peripheral neuropathy that mostly only bothers me when I have to wear shoes. I have a closet full of old shoes that I can no longer wear because my feet feel like they are on fire. I've tried a pair of leading brand diabetic shoes with little success; The last pair I bought were just painful and I had to return them. But the review of this shoe mentioned Sketchers, so I looked around for models with gel inserts. These shoes are AMAZING to me. Although I still feel a slight discomfort, this is the first time I've worn shoes outdoors with minor discomfort in years. I just ordered a similar pair in brown. The best part is that the Sketchers cost a lot less than the special diabetic shoes that didn't fit me anyway. If the 2nd pair is as comfortable as this pair, I will have to buy new branded shoes again and again. Thanks Sketchers. You have no idea how important these shoes are to people with my condition. Maybe I can even go to my office more often instead of always working remotely. (Remote work is great, but I'd like to interact with people more often.)
