Review on πŸ›‘οΈ Enhance and Protect with Filson Oil Finish Wax 11069033 by Heather Warren

Revainrating 1 out of 5

You can last a thick waxed linen jacket for years if you take care of it.

I've tried other waxes and Filson's is much easier to apply. It seems to have been improved recently. I apply it liberally with my fingers, leave it on for a day and then use a hair dryer to remove the "sticky" effect. A dryer gun will also work. The fabric is waterproof again with a worn feel. If I buy another piece of pewter clothing, I will most likely take it to the local dry cleaner and have it treated very gently. Then I'll grow it back and hang it outside for a while. Much calmer in the forest. My Filson birding jacket is over 50 years old. old and just starting to wear out on the cuffs.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Thin
