Good looking and easy to assemble. The red light appears too bright from the street. One improvement: I mounted it on a garage wall (vertical) and the slider holes in the mounting base are designed for ceiling mounting (rotation). You could add 2 more sliding holes pointing in the same direction for wall mounting where the device would slide down on 2 screws. Either way, it's still safely installed. I will buy another one for the back door. I bought a second one a week later and it was a little different from the first. It didn't have a separate mounting bracket, so the whole unit will only snap into place with 2 screws, making measuring a bit tricky. In addition, the first flashes every 10 seconds and the second every 2 seconds. I like the 10 second interval better (more realistic) and I expect the battery life will be much better.
