The outer shell appears durable and has a nice textured finish. The color is exactly the same as the picture, nice and bright. The inside pockets were small credit card slots as expected, perfect for storing our Pokemon cards. My 3 and 4 year olds slide their cards in and out with ease and they haven't broken any pockets since using them so I'd say they're pretty sturdy too. We chose the zipper style, it opens smoothly and the binding feels solid so you don't have to worry about the contents falling out. I recommend this product without hesitation.
