I was impressed with how well made these water shoes are. The outsole is rubber and the inside is padded so it protects against the pool's cement floor, hot outdoor pool areas or small rocks on the beach. It's still flexible though - it bends all the way through, just like it does in the product photos. The upper is similar to neoprene, which dries quickly. As a bonus, it also protects from the sun, which means I don't have to wear one sunscreen. They are easy to put on and take off. The velcro seems secure. They are lightweight so children can easily walk in them. The blue and white shark print is adorable and my kid loves it. They are durable, easy to put on, comfortable to wear, cute print - I recommend!
