I was concerned about the size of the nipple on the end of the adapter. I've seen candelabra bulbs not working because of this, but I hooked them up to my ceiling fan and an A19 LED bulb to the adapter and the light came on just fine. limited to a 40w bulb, useless in the bedroom. With these adapters I was able to connect 2 equivalent 60W LED bulbs to my ceiling fan. No blinking, which of course would be a deal breaker. My ceiling fan has a remote control and I think that's why it doesn't usually accept 2 LED or CFL or a combination of both. One has to be either incandescent or halogen but two A19 LED bulbs worked fine. It fits right into the adapter.
