Paying $6 for this little piece of plastic is a bit much, but it worked for me. However, I found that I had to make changes to get it to fit properly. When I put the wall plate on after installing this adapter plate, I noticed that the wall plate is sticking out of the wall on the side of this adapter, revealing a large gap. I removed the adapter plate and used a sander to remove any plastic material that had collected around the screw hole holding the wall plate. I sanded just enough so it was flush with the rest of the plastic on this part. After everything was reassembled, the wall panel was flush with the wall. In summary, I felt it was overpriced, especially considering it didn't fit the wall plate without modification.
