Bracket needs stability. When the screen was tilted, I immediately flexed this clip and bent it back with my bare hands. That speaks to how easily the thing bends. it shouldn't bend at all. Other adapters like this have some sort of stabilizer bar between the plates. The thin one has a two inch piece of metal that just isn't as thick as it should be. It also staggers like a drunken sailor due to that single design flaw. When I type, the monitor shakes. I had to remove the adapter and buy a different type.
