Great for reenactor projects

Our local craft store didn't have this leather strap and we needed some of these for our renovation projects in ancient Rome. That was excellent. It was a great force, and it didn't rip or tear when pulled hard through armor. We've used some of them to replace the cord in armor and others to replace the strap in Roman leather sandals. Usually we just have to replace this stuff because it gets lost because it's so stiff. But after 15 years some things wear out. No need to change at least another 15!
