Let's start with the positive aspects. The construction feels solid and I have no doubt that it will protect my iPad. It looks great, especially when it's closed it looks like a $50 suitcase. I'm not sure if the leather is real, but it looks and feels real. If you're just looking for build quality, protection, and aesthetics, this is a 5-star case. Now for the cons. The kickstand was one of the main reasons I bought it and unfortunately the kickstand is its biggest weakness. I use my iPad as a secondary controller to make music on my desktop - I just needed something to reliably support it. The stand always collapses for no reason in this case, so it doesn't quite suit my needs. The only drawback is that it is a little uncomfortable in the hand. The lid just hangs loose - wish it would snap onto the back of the case or something. Definitely not bad, especially for the price. If you're just looking for something that looks good and protects your iPad, this really is a fantastic option.
