Review on Rii i8X Mini Wireless Keyboard with Touchpad Mouse – Portable, Backlit, Rechargeable Li-ion Battery, 2.4GHz by Gene Rosado

Rii makes a lot of these mini keyboards, so it's important to check which item you're using. That being said, this review is for a mini KB with a circular, backlit shape and red scroll wheel. If it matches yours, you passed the first test. Before trying this particular Rii, I tried bright green, the color was easy to spot on my remotes, but it didn't affect performance in any way. It doesn't wake up when I take it out to use. It was good when it worked. This black version comes with a dongle so the signal is much better than BT. This keyboard is worth its weight in gold to me. One downside is the overall size, it's a bit small and the keys get tangled at times, but overall when I reach for this Rii keyboard it wakes me up instantly and lets me get my work done. I didn't give it five stars because the size issue was enough to knock it off the Loft 5.0*. So if you need A KB for work, then this is what you need. Not perfect, but it works! Update: 8/9/18 I've been using this keyboard since my first test, and until recently the unit was, if not impeccable, pretty damn good. Now the charge doesn't hold, which means performance suffers. For now I will not downgrade my 4 star rating. I believe any product can have bad eggs, but that doesn't mean the product is bad. Let's see how quickly they take care of the customer.
