I was surprised when the package arrived because it was quite small. In the box I found 2 very flat pillows. But as soon as they came out of their plastic packaging, they immediately started to ruffle. I sleep on my side and don't like extra fluffy pillows that raise my head and put my neck in an uncomfortable position. These pillows are not very fluffy. Although I originally bought these pillows to put in the new pillowcases that came with the comforter, I was surprised by the quality at such a great price. These pillows are cool to the touch and feel great under my head. I may now have to reconsider what pillows actually come with these pads.
