Two things I really appreciate about this case: 1) The case is fully magnetic which means it stays secure for the iPad and also very easy to remove when needed can be removed. . Don't worry about a clunky plastic case or stretchy silicone. 2) The magnetic tab that secures the pencil is great. Most of the other cases here also hold a pencil but are made of molded plastic. I find it unnecessary, clumsy, ugly and can even be difficult to grab or "put" the pen back in the case. The stylus is technically already securely attached to the iPad itself via charging magnets, that little magnetic loop just makes sure it doesn't go anywhere. Like a little seat belt for your pencil. If you bought an iPad for its timeless simplicity, functionality and beautiful design, then why throw it all away for a gaudy and chunky case? If you agree that the simplicity of a case should match the simplicity and beauty of an iPad, then this case is for you (I just want it to be black or white, but the forest green is nice too). If you feel the need to move your iPad, throw it away. airplane windows, or you need to show the world how manly you are through your purchases, then this probably isn't the best case for you.
