I use water bottles every day when I go camping with my dogs and I particularly like this bottle because it's lightweight and keeps water cold. I mean it keeps my water really cold. The first time I used it I put some ice cubes in a bottle and filled it with water and waited for the cubes to melt while adding water to the bottle while still keeping it cold. Spring. The ice cubes were intact and barely melted when I got home! So I didn't have enough water that I wanted. So I learned to just throw in some cubes and more water. It keeps cold for a very, very long time so you don't have to fill it with ice before adding your drink just to keep it cold. Just a few dice are more than enough. I refilled his coffee several times before going out and almost couldn't drink it because it kept it so hot - I was actually hoping it would cool down a bit. So now when I fill it up with coffee, knowing I want to drink it for about four hours, I add an ice cube to bring the temperature down a bit so I can drink it without burning my mouth. Bottom line, it keeps things really cold or hot. Well, knowing that I fill a bottle of coffee first thing in the morning and want it to stay hot all day (until evening), I don't add an ice cube. The coffee stays hot most of the day and is good in the evenings. I also like the color of the sea wave. Not only is it my favorite color, it's easy to spot if I leave it in the woods. There are very few blue/turquoise things in nature so it stands out and I can easily find it without any problems. The bottle is easy to wash by hand. I wouldn't wash it in the dishwasher (I guess hand washing is recommended anyway). Being stainless steel it doesn't seem to "hold" any flavors/odors so I can drink coffee one day and water the next without feeling like I'm drinking coffee both days. It's also well made, and if I drop it (which I've had a couple of times), it comes out unharmed. And it's easy enough. It's all good if I run a few miles and don't want to be weighed down.
