Review on 🎧 NAD DAC 2 - High-Fidelity 24Bit/192kHz Wireless USB Digital-to-Analog Converter by Robert Howell

Amazing sound. Very happy with purchase

I was looking for a wireless DAC to stream high quality FLAC/ALAC files from my computer to my AV for playback on my B&W CM10 speakers to play. My computer is far away and running a long cable is inconvenient. I bought this NAD and an optical coax cable to fill this need. Amazing sound. Very happy with the purchase. It's a 24/96 stream and makes a difference to my Apple TV which converts everything to 16/44 regardless of the quality of the file. This would require a file larger than 96 downgraded to 96, but this is important. Setup couldn't be easier. Connect the power cord and digital coaxial cable to the AV system. Connect the remote unit to the computer via USB. I have a MAC so no drivers to download. All I had to do was switch the audio to NAD output and my high quality files just played. The best I've heard from them. I can call it the purest sound I have ever heard. A good example was an old Meatloaf - Bat out of Hell. My version of AAC sounded a bit empty. The same goes for ALAC 24/96 on Apple TV. On NAD I made it kinda to my liking. I highly recommend this device. that I heard her. I can call it the purest sound I have ever heard.
