[Impressions] Good assembly and reliability. Great product for using a laptop (or eating) on the couch! Real wood veneer is fine, has unpainted holes that can be touched up with a furniture repair/stain oil or furniture handle. Top: Class B: The top is beautiful, made of natural veneer. It feels good, but you can definitely see its veneer, especially on the sides. "Plywood" veneer looks a bit cheesy as it is unaligned and not completely flat. The wood top has small white indentations (second photo) that can be covered with penetrating blackout oil (try walnut). Metal Base: Class A The base is surprisingly strong. I often put my feet up on the table when I place my laptop on my lap. The table does not give way and does not swing. Fabric magazine holder. The AI class didn't think I would like the cloth hanging on the back of the table, but now I really like it. It is attached with Velcro. You can remove me, but first you need to unscrew the two screws on the table. I thought it might not be safe, but it actually holds up very well. I used a magazine rack to hold a portable power bank to power off my laptop so I don't have to plug it into the charger often.
