I was looking for a small transistor radio for my 92 year old mother that is easy to use. I bought it thinking it's just what I need. When it arrived I opened the box and it was very cheap and rattled when moving. Insert batteries (not included). When I turned around all I heard was this TERRIBLE alarm sound, it was very loud and the sound it made was not affected by the volume control. I was never able to get rid of the sound and find a real radio station. Thank goodness I tested it before my poor mum turned it on! I sent the radio back. I only gave the product 1 star because it couldn't be rated worse.
