Functional - not as pretty as expected

This is a mouse pad so obviously nothing special. I was hoping for something fun for my office. It works, but not at all in the way I thought it would. Judging by the description, it says "Gold Foil Mouse Pad". There is no gold foil. I think it was more of an artistic liberty. These are yellow and orange peas. Not shiny, no foil etc.
