Review on πŸ”Œ Arlington LV1 1CS Voltage Mounting Bracket: Secure and Versatile Electrical Box Solution" by Vincent Poolaw

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ideal for low voltage feedthroughs

Bought several of these to tidy up my wall mounted TVs. I was sad to learn they didn't come with a template, but I quickly fixed that by cutting a template for them out of cardboard. Then I realized that all I really needed was a 3.5β€³ and 2.25β€³ high rectangular hole in the wall to install them. To install these bad boys, find a spot on the wall, mark the 3.5 x 2.25 box and very carefully cut it with a hacksaw. Insert them, tighten the screws and you're done. (PRO TIP: I like to use a spirit level as a ruler to draw the lines for the box to make sure not only is the board level, but that the corners really are 90 degrees. You could also use a spirit level and a Use spirit level to frame angles.) Very easy conversion 1. Cutting drywall can be nerve wracking but after the first hole it doesn't matter. Take your time and get it right the first time. (PRO TIP: Be careful when sticking your key saw into the wall, don't go too deep or you'll come out the other side!) And remember: find your studs first. ! They have to be right above and below each other, otherwise you won't be able to route the wires in the wall as the studs separate the inlet and outlet.
