Review on πŸ“˜ Stylish and Functional Blue Metal Spine Book Tower by SEI Furniture by David Chen

Revainrating 3 out of 5

the tower leans forward and the shelves sag for months.

I've had this for children's books for 6 months now. Looked great at first. But after a few months, he began to lean forward. I figured it was inevitable and for $100 it was still worth it and not worth the hassle of taking it apart and returning it. But after 4 months individual shelves began to sag. They don't bend by themselves, they just sag. The pieces that connect the shelf to the tower just don't go together very well. I didn't even have many books. Now that the books are literally slipping and falling off due to the sag, I had to call Revane to find out. Still don't like taking it apart etc. I know the whole point is to be self contained but it would be nice to have an option, a way to wall the tower with an anti-tip to fix. This would help with leaning, but also prevent hazards and a forward fall. I'm disappointed. I really wanted to like it. Even survived the first two shelves that started to sag. But now almost everyone does it.

Pros
  • 12-shelf storage tower for books or media
Cons
  • Not sure
