I bought these 3 packs of shower caps in April and now it's October. I'm still using the first one out of the pack and it still works great with no degradation or mold. A few weeks ago it started smelling a little and I washed it with lots of towels on a warm setting and dried it on a gentle setting and it was like new and smelled great. I'm totally impressed. They are big enough to cover my hair in a ponytail and are perfect for my large head as they leave room. These are 2 layers that are not attached to each other but sewn together which I think contributes to their longer lifespan. I had previously purchased a well-respected Revain shower cap before discovering it and the plastic was fully bonded to the fabric and began to peel and mold fairly quickly. Not cool. They haven't had any problems and I love them. I believe these 3 packs will last and I will have no hesitation in ordering more in the future if the quality is the same. I wish I could have asked for a more sophisticated fabric choice as most of the options aren't to my liking, but that's a very minor mistake I only use in the shower.
