Review on πŸš— CAR PASS 6PCS Super Universal Fit Front Car Seat Covers Set Package - Black/Gray, Airbag Compatible with Composite Sponge Interior by Daniel Warren

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Incredibly difficult setup, but overall things are looking better.

So I can't give them five stars for a number of reasons. Most importantly, they are incredibly difficult to put on the seats. I have a 2008 Pontiac Vibe and my seats were pretty dirty. Coffee stains, spilled vegetable juice and ten years of use have left them really worn and shabby. They fit well but the bottoms of the seats are a little tight. Because of this, they lift up a bit in the middle, but I think people sitting on them will straighten up over time. The rear corners near the seat back do not cover the entire seat and you can see the original seat underneath. I'm pretty accommodating, but fitting covers on the underside of the seat is almost impossible. About forty-five minutes later, two broken nails, scratched and bruised hands, I installed the passenger seat. a small caribbean rod from my keychain to slide through and then use my hand to pull under the seat i was able to blindly add to grab and connect to the elastic piece in the back. The metal hooks are cheap, sharp, and dangerous, and I had to bend them a little when I caught them by the rubber bands, afraid they'd just come loose if she moved the lid. The instructions are completely useless and uninformative, and not. I cannot describe at all the three separate cases I ordered. They don't provide actual installation instructions. So you are on your own. I have cuts on my arms and bleeding cuticles from having to put my arms between the seat and the plastic to secure them. As the title of my review suggests, installation is a pain. NOTE TO MANUFACTURER: You must use a flexible plastic hook to push the elastics down through the side of the seat! And a more secure system of plastic hooks to connect the elastics would be a huge improvement and much safer. I'm afraid the passenger might cut himself reaching under the seat to push it back. The seat back pieces slide over the seat and are much easier to install. I ended up just tying the rubber bands together to secure and hold it in place. (The hooks wouldn't work at all.) The headrest pieces are a bit small. They are ok but because they are too small you can see poorly sewn seams making them look cheap. Good. So, despite all that, if your seats are in bad shape and you can't pay to get custom covers. or detailing the car - they definitely made the interior of my ten year old car much, much better. But was it worth the time and frustration? To be honest, it's debatable. I would also be happy to charge for the refurbishment or steam cleaning of the original seating surfaces. I'm not sure how long they will last. They didn't slide or move while driving. I'm also a bit concerned that dust particles will get stuck in the mesh and be difficult to remove, as another reviewer mentioned. All in all, at around $30, they improve the look of my seats. Oh god, be prepared for frustration and injury during the installation process. Note: I've increased my rating to four stars because despite the time consuming and difficult installation, they really drastically improved the look of my car!
