Bamboo material is of excellent quality and washes well. It's even softer after washing than when you started, so do yourself a favor and wash right after you open it! This blanket is surprisingly heavy for its thinness. My son sleeps sweaty and this blanket is exactly what I was looking for. You get the comfort and weight of a nice blanket without the heat. I ordered an anthracite and it's beautiful [cool rather than warm in hue] if color is important to you. My only complaint is that they don't match the beds. I think this is more of a sofa blanket than a proper duvet that you can tuck in properly. I ordered 79"x91" based on a quick google search for duvet sizes hoping it would fit my son's full sized bed but it doesn't. It's wide enough but not long enough. I'm keeping it for the quality and my son doesn't care if it's not tucked in at the bottom, but I wish the measurements were more specific to standard bed sizes.
