Review on Zippy Pop Original Stainless Dishwasher by Denise Hansen

The stainless steel version of this popcorn maker is worth the higher price I paid compared to their aluminum versions in my opinion. The metal handle never gets hot. Popcorn turns out great if I follow the simple instructions that came with the popcorn maker (the video version of the instructions is also available online and is very helpful too). The popcorn he makes is excellent, it is heated in coconut oil and drizzled evenly with the oil after cooking. I wash it in the dishwasher including the lid (dishwasher safe) and it comes out clean and the stainless steel parts shine. I wash its rubber parts separately - not in the dishwasher, which is my choice - not because it's required. I've bought and tried many different versions of popcorn makers over the years, but this is the best I've had. Only time will tell if popping popcorn 2 or 3 times a week will survive without falling apart like my other popcorn makers have. It seems very solidly built so I'll see what happens in the long run.
