Review on Uxcell Infrared Degree Illuminator Security by Kamil Campbell

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good IR emitters. But not with 90 degree pattern

a large one Lots of IR lights, but they're definitely not 90 degree flow. They have a very noticeable hot spot in the middle, which then disappears on either side, forming a 45 degree pattern. Think of the classic bell curve and you'll get the idea. However, several of them, located in an arc, can cover a large area. I used my "bare ones" with no case and mounted them under a protective canopy on the back porch. I coated the back and front of the LED arrays with MG 422C silicone protective coating for weather protection (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B085G42TGS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). The price is definitely right and hopefully they will last a few years before needing replacement.

Pros
  • Suitable lens: 80 degree - 4mm, 60 degree - 6mm, 45 degree - 8mm, 30 degree - 12mm, 15 degree - 16mm/25mm
Cons
  • Useless functions
