I bought this for a Nikon D3300 with Wi-Fi. The remote control that came with the camera rarely worked, and even then only within a limited range. So I decided to try this device. The price was right and it was guaranteed to work with my camera. Well, he does what what should I do, and from a great distance - I no longer have to stand over the camera for pictures. The only thing that worries me about this product is that for the $$ laid out you would think they would at least give batteries! Yes, the description says there are no batteries, and they meant it - although there is clearly a place for them in the box (see photo). I mean come on guys. Are you so cheap that you can't supply batteries? You can provide an extra strap, but it's literally the cheapest component you can't even put where it's supposed to be in the box. I had to find and peck a cheap CR2032 battery from a local store, then put in a couple of triple-A (AAA) batteries, and it worked without having to change any settings. Like I said, this is a great device, just a cheap company, it doesn't even get past a pair of aces. What to do with that extra useless shoelace?
