I just toss my laptop across the room to charge it. I recently reorganized my desk to make it look cleaner and this stand helped me a lot. It is very sturdy in that I can hold my 16 inch MacBook Pro and iPad with no issues. I could remove one of the devices and the stand wouldn't move at all. There is a thick rubber pad on the bottom to keep the device from moving while protecting your desk from scratches. Adjusting the size of the device is very easy and all you need is an Allen key and 2 adjustment screws on each side. Overall, the stand fits my desktop perfectly and does the job perfectly.
