I think this product is very nice to have in the car. This is really a great place to store rubbish. I really hated just throwing my empty bottles or stuff on the floor randomly and tidying it up later. While it doesn't store much, it can hold simple junk like cans, small food wrappers, and the like. The lid is rigid so it doesn't wobble back and forth, but you can just stuff rubbish in it. It doesn't quite hold the smell, so if you throw food in there you may have an odor. The inner liner is water resistant as far as I can tell when throwing food in BUT I would still use a plastic bag in case you put food scraps in. I wouldn't recommend just leaving them in the bin. It can stick and then be difficult to wash off. In my opinion, the best way is to just take a small garbage bag and put it in the holder. This device can be installed in the back or front seat. It has brackets, you can install it easily and don't worry about it falling off. It can hold a decent amount of weight if you don't expect excessive tension. Overall this device works pretty well and I would recommend it for keeping your car clean.
