This is poorly made

I bought this for my son and he was so excited to get it as he took his first communion. Well it was good, but it didn't even last a day. He put it on and took it off to show his friend the piece of metal where the cross had just split in half. He wasn't tense, he just filmed it. Very sad and disappointed. I called Amazon, they immediately returned the money and told me to just throw it away :-(
