Review on Set Of 2 - 4.5" Terracotta Clay Plant Pots W/ 3 Legs & Saucer | Indoor Succulent Planters by Tony Korek

Looks great in my aquarium

I bought these as part of the decor for a freshwater aquarium because terra cotta pots are the main feature. In the picture, they are at opposite ends of the tank. These pots are an eye-catching shape, and I really like that there are two different heights in the set; they are identical in all ways except for the length of the legs. My smaller fish are able to go between the legs of the pots if they want, and it allows water to circulate beneath. What I'm less thrilled about is the price. It seems pretty high for naked terra cotta that's this thin, which is why I didn't give more than 2 stars for sturdiness. They're not as hefty and sturdy as a standard terra cotta pot. They're top-heavy, especially filled, and if I weren't using them in a tank with a sand and gravel bottom, I'd be worried they'd tip over and break. Seems like they'd be sturdier if the legs weren't clustered so closely together toward the center of the pot. If I could give more than 5 stars for packaging, I would because it was absolutely stellar, so much so that it seems the people who make these pots are fully aware of just how fragile they are. I feel like I have to be extra careful with them to avoid snapping a leg off or something. Overall, the shape and sizes are the best features about them, and that's why I gave 3 of 5 stars in "value for money." I've simply never seen any terra cotta pots like them, and obviously, I thought it was worth spending that much to have them in my tank. I only wish they were less fragile. Then I'd feel good about giving full stars for value and maybe sturdiness.
