Review on πŸ“œ Imported Japanese Calligraphy Paper - 100 Sheets from DAISO by Carla Anderson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent paper for practice - not intended for gallery decoration

This thin rice paper is clearly marked PRACTICE - not intended for definitive fine art gallery use. And it's all right! We all need to practice and test things, and most of us don't have the money to do it on expensive paper. This thin paper allows us to practice our techniques, try new styles, all on paper that's responsive enough without breaking the bank. Perfect for all those handy activities when you get a new brush or ink or whatever and want to see how it works. If someone complains that the paper isn't high-quality, museum-quality paper, they didn't read the description very well. Batteries in a box along with paper. So, my paper is crumpled. Since this is a training job I didn't care, but still be aware that Revane can do this to you. You might want to make sure you order ONLY the newspaper and then wait a day or two to order anything else you want from them.

Pros
  • Craft
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
