Review on πŸ‘‘ Comfort and Style: Teva Women's Verra Sandal for a Perfect Summer by Dre Fishburne

If you compare Teva Tirra and Verra, choose Tirra!

I love Teva's. I've had them for years and the Hurricanes are my first pair. Then I discovered Tirra about four years ago and of course I fell in love with her immediately. My husband says the hurricanes look bulky and chunky so he always prefers me to wear a tirra but I have a blue tirra and this light blue doesn't always go with everything. I like black and gray sandals so I chose Verra, they are also minimal, have less straps and can be worn with anything. I've been reading reviews off and on for the past few weeks. Verra vs. Tirra: Tirra is about ultimate comfort, construction and overall feel. Doesn't rub anywhere, even on little toes, perfect arch support whatever. Verra are not that well built. On the inside of the ankle strap, the part that wraps around the inside of the foot and ankle, the Verra appears to be just glued on. Tirra sewn very well, strong seams. Maybe that's why the straps of some women come loose from their shoes over time. They also differ on the underside. The Tirra is a straight grip rubber, the Verra I just got is part rubber (front and back) but more like compressed foam on most soles. The Verra's outsole is noticeably thinner than the Tirra's, but arch support is still pretty good. In terms of size, I wear a size 9 for the Hurricanes, a size 9.5 for the Tirra and a size 10 for the Verra. I always wear size 9 sandals, even my Birkenstocks are size 40 R. Styling wise, the Verra looks prettier and more feminine, but the straps on the Tirra are much better. Tirra material dries faster and is softer. Also, the straps have cushioning fabric on the bottom where they touch your feet, the Verra doesn't have that. One last thing to compare the two, the strap between the two Velcro straps covering the ankle is much shorter on the Verra. So when you close this strap, it doesn't cover the front of the ankle like the Tirra does. I return Verra. My feet hurt just carrying them around the house. In my own experience, the Verra is more suitable for narrow feet. I have a small foot and a medium foot, but even my small foot hurts. I hope this helps someone else trying to compare Tirra and Verra models.
