Pretty good for computers and accessories

Wrapped arrived 1 day earlier than expected, well packaged. First Impression: Smaller than expected, lots of USB ports, quiet and cool. I only use 3 power/VGA/audio cables. You can eliminate audio by using HDMI cables, so only 2 cables are really needed! Also, with the Logitech k350 wireless keyboard and Logitech M570 wireless trackball, I was able to use both with a Logitech Unifying receiver. Couldn't be happier with the keyboard and trackball combo. Internet connection, dual-core processor, 2GB RAM expandable to 4GB, large capacity hard drive of 215+GB after formatting, and it even comes with full version of Win 7 to avoid running like other Atom systems. The video was a bit choppy, the flash ads seem to make things worse. An audio port on the front would be better on the back, but I suppose if you're using an HDMI cable it doesn't matter. No CD/DVD drive, no recovery software included. with this. Overall: I'm very happy with it, I think the price is a bit high, I don't need it to do anything other than doing basic computing and surfing the web while watching flash videos in a browser. I was using Google Chrome which has the latest firmware update. UPDATE. I have found that moving the video to disk fixes the choppy HD playback. I've found that you can go into Nvidia admin and change the settings to improve performance so this can help stream HD video from the net without stuttering, although I haven't tried it yet. I also bought it to replace my old desktop tower with a P4 3.6Ghz graphics card and an ATI 1300 Xtreme edition with a 650w PSU. Compared to my tower computer, this thing is pretty peppy for its specs, and it didn't disappoint. The only time I notice a difference between the two is when I'm installing or uninstalling programs, the Revo only does one minute or two slower. Revo shows 4 cores in task manager and has never seen CPU usage go above 50% while my P4 often went to 100%. I can't comment on the keyboard and mouse that comes with the Revo 3700, but I plan on going to two on ebay to get some of my money back

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • sad packaging
