Decent build quality for the price. The controls are a bit non-intuitive but my 8 year old can use them. The image preview looks okay on the tiny screen on the back of the camera, but it really sucks when you're viewing images on a computer - there doesn't seem to be any autofocus, and the image sensor or JPG encoding is terrible. A favorite feature with my 8 year old is a simple Centipede game that pops up in front of the camera.
