No smell as described but pleasantly clean. Not particularly moisturizing for me but leaves skin feeling fresh and comfortable, especially after a dark blue shower. (Moisten, turn off water, lather fully and rinse). This gives the lather time to detox the pores and feel great. I have sensitive skin and this soap doesn't itch or irritate. This soap works better and faster in cleaning. Pores on my face than expensive creams and chemicals containing alpha and/or beta hydroxy. I paid full price and this is an honest review.
