My daughter is at that awkward age where she is too old for children's toys but too young for toys with small parts or advanced features. It was really hard for her to buy this Christmas. When a friend recommended her to buy a Bilibo, I admit I was skeptical about it. Although my kids are very imaginative, I wasn't sure if they would find a use for this odd piece of plastic. After I placed the order my husband thought I was crazy. We were both wrong. Bilibo was the biggest hit under the Christmas tree! Both my daughter and 4 year old son played with it non-stop. They incorporate it into their game in the most imaginative ways. It becomes part of other toys and games and also inspires them to play. Her favorite thing to do is sit and spin (and sometimes just hang out) in the middle of the Bilibo. They put it on their head and look out through two holes, pretending to be some kind of creature. You step on it and it becomes an island, home base or a distant planet. My only disappointment is that I'm too big to fit in!
