Review on πŸ‘œ Sarah Wells Kelly Convertible Breast Pump Bag and Backpack – Insulated Pocket, Laptop Sleeve, and Carrying Handles – Compatible with All Portable Pumps by Veronica Wade

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great bag for the breast pump. Feels compact but fits a lot.

I've had this bag for about 3-4 weeks now and take it to work every day. So far this has worked fine for me. I also took it on the plane for a day trip, 3 hours one way. Both flights were occasional, I would normally babysit or pump, and the bag was perfect for pumping on the plane! (I also have a very quiet pump, so that helped.) The bag fits nicely under the center seat and by the window; it didn't fit under the aisle seat. What I like: - general shape and size; it is compact but still holds a lot. - The main compartment accommodates an insulated bottle pouch and breast pump parts with plenty of space. I often add a hearty lunch and light snacks throughout the day, as does my rockin' bra. I sometimes put my laptop in the included laptop case, but only if I need to work while pumping (which I do in my mom's room on a whole different floor of the building I work in). - The side pocket for the pump is very large. I can set up my Spectra 1 and leave the pipes and valves connected, which is very convenient. I don't even have to take my pump out of my pocket to use it. (This feature was great on the plane.) - Enough external and internal pockets to store nursing pads, breast milk bags, adapters, wallets, keys, etc. - Good sized side pocket for a water bottle with zip to adjust the bag size - Black color is very discreet; Unless you're a breastfeeding mom, you don't know this is a breast pump pouch. What I don't like: - Straps/handles: I wish they were a bit longer. They often slip off my shoulder and down my arm, especially when my bag is full in the morning. I wish they were made of a different material and/or had shoulder pads. - Backpack straps: I don't know how to explain it, but wearing this bag as a backpack is just very strange, whether it's both straps or just one. Fortunately, they can be hidden. - quite light as it doesn't affect the functionality of the bag, but the inner lining doesn't bother me. Fuchsia and stars are too childish in my opinion. In general, everything about the bag is five stars except for the straps. The straps are the reason I am giving this bag four stars.
